After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Marilyn went on to a very successful 22-year technical sales and marketing career in the Agriculture industry in Western Canada. During that time she was also involved in her own grain operation in east central Saskatchewan.

In 2006 Marilyn started Green Acres Tech Inc. — a private agricultural consulting firm. The company focus has been to provide independent agronomic services with no affiliation to retailers, seed companies or chemical suppliers for primary producers. From the beginning, the company has included precision farming practices in its list of services.

Marilyn herself has been involved in Precision Farming since 1996 after purchasing a Case combine with a yield monitor. Her interest has grown from there and since then has been involved in many of the technologies that make precision farming what it is today. From yield monitors to software, from EC mapping to drones, Marilyn has been involved one way or another either as a learner, a service provider or a teacher.

Agriculture thrives on creative solutions and we are committed to our ongoing education and continuously exploring and implementing new technologies to meet evolving challenges. We ensure that all practices are sustainable, safe and respectful of our clients, employees and the environment. In an agriculture industry that is always changing, Green acres Tech Inc is flexible in adapting to changes and meeting our clients’ demands. With strong education and years of industry experience, we deliver expert guidance our clients trust to ensure immediate results and long term success.

With nearly 20 years in operation, our experience is an asset. In combination with the data we collect and our experience, we have developed a deep understanding of the local conditions unique to our region. Green Acres Tech Inc. continues to grow as an expanding team of agrologists, crop scouts and field technicians to service our clients throughout south-east Saskatchewan.
